What a GREAT SHOW!!

This show was awesome for several reasons. I admit I only started to listen to this band from the last cd- Deceiver of the Gods. First, I got to see Entombed AD - great band, awesome songs and entertaining performance all from a band I had never heard of before this show. Second, I got to see Exmortus - great band, awesome drummer!!!! They played all my favorite songs off the new cd-Jomsviking. Maybe they can sell it to another band when the tour ends. The show was just the right length and mixed the new material with older material that I honestly had not heard before. What happens to these stage sets when the tour ends? Third- Free Throw - what can I say? Loved the Viking Horns stage theme and drum riser!!! Very cool! They only played 2 songs that I was not familiar with-but in any case they rocked the house! Very fan friendly, reasonably priced tickets and t-shirts. For roughly $103, I was able to buy 3 shirts, 1 ski hat, and 1 show ticket. Nice to have 25 bucks in my pocket when I arrived home after the gig! And they were not charging extra for 2xxl shirts!!! And the crowd really seemed to enjoy themselves! Hopefully they come back thru Boston this summer!!! Also major props to Free Throw for having no fights, no drama, just good music and good times from 3 awesome bands! METAL is KING!
